Hotel Description:
Situated only a minute's walk from both Oxford Street
and Marble Arch, the fully air-conditioned Mostyn Hotel places you close
to all the commercial centres of the West End, as well as the tourist
attractions and night life of London.
The Mostyn Hotel was originally built as a private residence for Lady
Black, a lady-in-waiting to the court of George II. A lot of the
original architecture has been retained, especially the magnificent
ornate ceilings in the restaurant and conference rooms by John Adam.
The popular European themed restaurant has a warm and friendly
atmosphere serving modern European Cuisine with a varied wine list,
beers and huge serving of friendliness. The informal bar has a very
relaxing atmosphere and is ideal for a pre-theatre drink, a relaxed
meeting or after dinner drinks.
Housed within the most historic parts of the hotel are the three
Conference Rooms. Two of these spacious rooms are found on the first
floor by ascending the magnificent Georgian stairway, and each has its
own breathtaking features.
All the beautifully appointed conference rooms have natural daylight,
are air conditioned, and are fully soundproofed. Lighting can be
arranged in various formats to suit your requirements. One of the rooms
has a capacity for up to 120 delegates theatre style, and boasts high
ornate ceilings with palatial decoration, whilst the third room is an
ideal location for smaller, more intimate meetings.
