Hotel
Description:
You're unique, you're
individual' is very much the philosophy behind the new myhotel which
opened in Autumn 2002 in the heart of urban fashionable Brompton
Cross in Chelsea. Set to be the place to be - the ultra chic and
utterly decadent myhotel Chelsea will be an urban retreat where
'Brides Revisited' meets 'sex in the City'; where the feel of a
bohemian country house meets contemporary glamour
Created by the team that brought you the award-winning my hotel
Bloomsbury, the hotel has 45 guest rooms, two stunning function
suites, a bar, an indulgent 'pamper rooms' and a residents-only
conservatory.
Designed by James Soane of Project Orange, the new hotel recreates a
modern country home. The bedrooms combine the traditional with the
contemporary and the comfortable with the luxurious through the use
of fresh pastel colours, soft furnishing, and mismatched antique and
modern furniture coupled with state-of-the-art TVs, DVD/CD players
and email/internet access. Freshly cut flowers in giant jugs
complete the picture.
Mybar is glossed with white walls, mandarin orange club chairs,
porcelain lighting and a silver pewter bar will make mybar one of
the sexiest and most individual bars in town. Inn keeping the
British theme, mybar will be famous for their 'essential afternoon
tea' complete with bone china and with a vast selection of treats
including crumpets, Eccles cakes, finger sandwiches, chocolate
éclairs and fairy cakes.
Two stunning private rooms are available for a wide variety of
events including product launches, conferences, meetings, private
dinners and champagne receptions from 12 to up to 120 guests. |
